CityJet
Just flown with this airline for the first time out of London City to Cork and back, what cracking service.

23kg checked in bag for free, complimentary drink and snack and extremely good service and punctual for more or less the same price as their rivals. Makes Ryanair look very amateurish.

They are not free however are they? They are costed into the price of the ticket which is why they are more expensive than the airline that give you the options.

If I only want to take hand baggage why should I pay for hold baggage? Rip off

That can't be difficult !

Re: CityJet
If they go into Dublin and Shannon, are as cheap as Ryanair and don't bombard you with constant PA announcements trying to flog you tat, I would give them a whirl.

Re: CityJet
Croe, they were the same price as Ryanair so what's your point being as they don't offer a checked in bag or ANYTHING complimentary?

Re: CityJet
And yes Nurse, they do fly to Dublin.

All about flight timing I reckon. Iv'e just compared them with my return flight to Dublin booked with Ryanair and they come out over twice as expensive!!

Lets be honest, yes sometime Ryanair are not the cheapest because if their high load factors but if you picked 10 random dates, they would be cheaper 9 times on average.

Cityjet's lead in price is £29, Ryanair's is £9.99

I've flown from City Airport to Amsterdam and Dublin, found the service very good too.

Short haul is much of a muchness, had good and bad flights on most airlines.

Whizz air was decent to Romania.

Ryanair was an hour late home and then sent a replacement plane that wasn't of the Ryanair fleet.

As long as it flys I don't care tbh.

Re: CityJet
The other great thing about flying from LCY is the transport links, £10 return to Upminster on the rattler rather than £50 to park my car at Stansted.
